My mother wanted me to learn how to sew. I wanted to lay on the couch and watch Perry Mason reruns. She won, and I was hooked on sewing. I was making every thing I wore by my sophomore year in high school and kept sewing through college, but didn't try quilting till years later when my daughter took a class in junior high. I thought it was soooooo cool. But reality was I either had time to draw and paint or quilt. By the time I had time to quilt, I didn't have the patience, the craftsmanship or the brains to do it well. So my contribution to the world of Quilting is going to have to be through my fabrics. Some of the designs are a little strange, the repeats are weird, as are the shapes and colors. I truly admire quilts and quilters and would really like to hear praise, comments, and even criticisms of my designs. Thanks in advance.
