Fine Feathered Friends
Even though I have always had cats, I have always thought birds were seriously gorgeous. It's a shame my two favorite animals can't live together peacefully so my love of any kind of bird have been of the wild outdoor kind compared to the one in a cage. When we moved to a townhouse on a small suburban lake, I began photographing the birds, geese and ducks who were residents. Then I began to take photos of geese and ducks in cities like Chicago and New York, swamps in Alabama and on the beach in Florida. One day where my drawings were looking like &*$($#$#*& I uploaded one of my best Egyptian Geese photos and SHAZAMM a whole new type of image came into my portfolio. Now, I'm hooked on photographing the wildlife on our lake-neighbors are starting to wonder about me....
